Like a KId Again!!!

yesterday I wrote a blog about my fishing trip all gone wet. When i was paddling back I was getting all soaked. For a moment I felt like I was a kid again playing in the rain. It was strange because you normally don't just stay in the rain for fun, you get out of it , but I kind of enjoyed the rain falling on my face and body . It reminded me of when I was a little kid and when it would rain I was out side playing in it in my parents drive way where the water puddled up I would float my toy boats in them. I miss them days. Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 GuitarTortoise Shell, Front #519907 on Musicians friend. That is the PRS I want. It looks sweet. I look at this guitar every day like it is a puppy dog in the window but the Guitar does not wag its tail at me. I keep looking at the price tag and think should I spend this hard earned money of mine to purchase this wonderful looking probably sounding guitar or just wait . I don’t know? I love Playing music and I know I am getting better at playing so why not treat myself. I am getting a music room in my new house and I think it would be a great addition to my musical instrument repertoire. What Do You Think? To be Continued

All wet!!!!

Yes , let me explain!!!! I went fly fishing for some perch today about around 2 o 'clock and I was struggling with the wind and still catching fish because they love biting when there is a Low in the area. So I was just fishing and the wind quit, I was like yes I don't have to fight it. So I was catching one here and there and then the sky fell. And Yes I was very far away from my parents house and I was paddling so I could not move fast . by the time I got back to my parents house the boat was half full of water and I was super saturated wet. Not funny Carrie!!!! I know you are laughing at me and you have not even read this yet. Well I am dry now, but that just stunk. I will have to wait till another day when there is no threat of rain in the forecast... To be Continued

Sad day but Happy!!!

Today I went to a funeral for someone that was not in my family but a friend for the first time in my life. It was sad because it was a Guy I worked with at Lowe's from day one of me working for that company. In 2005 He was my manager and I learned alot from him. In may of 2005 he was having some medical problems and found out that he had a tumor in his bladder that turned out to be cancer. His cancer was a rare form called umbilical cancer. he had it treated and he came back to work a month before hurricane Katrina slapped every one in the face. When we got back in town he let me stay at his place for a few nights so I could work in Slidell at the store. He was in and out of work having treatments done in Houston and then last year about mid way he quit work because he was told there was nothing they could do for him and he had maybe 6 months to live. he lived almost a full year and then some. David Guth Is now in God's hands a place where all his pain is absent. On earth His Wife, daughter and Three step sons Loved him dearly. I will Miss you . To Be continued

Its Been Awhile

OK it has been awhile since I have wrote a blog. Well I have been busy with alot. We are moving along with getting our house built. I have been getting wore out at work with the heat and just stupid things that go on in retail. Last Friday my wife and I took the day to get things with the house fixed, but the day itself was amazing. I spent most of the day with my wonderful wife. we drove all over the place. we went to Paul's pasties and then up to fortonberries to get food supplies. we cooked dinner that night which was great. I love spending time with my wife which I don't get to do much of in regular time. she took that day off so that is way I got to spend it with her. Love you baby .

I am tired

What a hot day!!! I went out this morning and I was sweating bullets at 10:00 and then work all days was ridiculous with the heat. I saw the devil stop the ice cream truck to get him a frozen treat. well I hope y'all out there can know what it is like to work on the sun all day...
