Fathers Day To Remember
Sunday for fathers day Was a fun fill day of In the morning was Church With My Father In heaven, second was with My father in Ponchatoula, and last but none the lease was my Dad Here in Slidell. We boiled some shrimp him and my mother had went out the night before and got chased in from the lighting that was striking the water all around them, but they came in with 500 lbs of nice 20/30 count shrimp which means 20-30 shrimp in a pound. crazy huh. Well all afternoon he was making noises about calling in sick so he could go out that night and see what he could bring in asking all of us if we wanted to go out shrimping. All of us have full time jobs and I was the only one that did not have to wake up at the crack of dawn so I said yes. I tryed to get some of my friends to go but they chickened out on me. so My dad and I went on out. We got the boat over to the launch and set everything up. which was pretty easy. not like what we did down in Grand Isle(*Blog later on this one)well we got in the water around 7:30 and dropped the nets in at 8 p.m. . We were using bay skimmer which work in shallow water and deep water. well for one hour we held in the current and when it was time to pick up, all we had to do is pull in the tails of the nets. we had about a half a basket in each net that made up one basket. I took my Phone out and took some pictures that I wish I could get on here it would be so nice and would add so much . but any way between pushes My dad and I talk and was wondering what was in store each time we would pick up, strategy of what current to hold on to and just things. well second batch got picked up at 10pm and we had one basket per net. The shrimp were clean , not much picking out fish and crabs so I just pulled out the big ones and iced down the rest in the Ice box. well the last drag of the night was till 11pm and I just looked up and the moon lit night and think of all the night I spent doing this same task in Grand Isle and just thinking about all the times before. Well it was time to pick up the final drag of the night and when we got it up there was so much shrimp in the net I had to help my Dad get the net into the boat. Basket in a half in each net. Crazy huh ... By then we we like what the hey lets go for a Lagniappe push and we did on to 12 am. All nice shrimp. well the last push then became an frenzy to find the current we wanted to hold onto. So at 12 we picked up the main frames which hold the nets and washed back all the shrimp that was in the nets. Let me tell you , when we got them nets up to the boat I was like Holy Cow Patties , Two baskets per net . we had a 700lbs night and maybe more counting all the ones I picked out . I enjoyed my Fathers day. That made me feel really good and glad To have a dad that can do so much. I learn from him every day. Thanks dad To be continued

Turkey Noodle
Today was a long day but it ended very well. We finally sold our house and we even got money back that we did not know that we would... I am so proud of my Niece Kayla. She had her first dance recital tonight and she did very well and she even had Two solos one was all by herself and the second one was our in front of her class. Well tomorrow is me back our in the heat where I sweat like a Eskimo in the Desert. Hope every one is having a blessed week. I would like Every one to Keep Carrie's Grand mother Aka Nee Nee in there Prayers. She is still not doing well with her health. Pray for Carrie and her family that they will have the strength and Peace that Every thing is in God's Hands. He Knows where He Wants Nee Nee to be, and if it still on Earth That would be His Will and if He wants Nee Nee Home In His Arms, He would ease Her Earthly Pains and carry Her home To re-unite with Loved ones and friends In His home of Heaven.

Day Of Pain
To day was a day of Pain. Again like last Sunday I got 3 blood filled blisters on my left drumming hand. After the second service I had to go on to Lowe's to work. I spent most of my day loading and in the sun. My hands now look like leather. The blisters hurt and my hands stink of Elephant smelling mulch. No matter how much you wash, the mulch stank still comes through. But you know what? I would play every Sunday at my great Northshore church praising our wonderful maker and get Thousands upon Thousands of blood filled blisters knowing that my upside down sideways Drum beats get other Church members and guest in the mood to praise Him. Today the last song that we sang came after a powerful testimony from our guest worship leader, song I will stand in the presents/How marvelous, the church was singing along and gave me the biggest goose bumps.Awesome I say, bravo.
